Frog Frolic

Date: 3/25/2018
Time: 10:00 AM -
Location: Towner Hill Preserve

This hike is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, March 25 at 1:30 pm at our Towner Hill Preserve (parking/meet up will be at in the White Silo parking lot - see below for link to trail map).  The vernal pools and wood frogs are still frozen as of 3/12/18.  We are on watch and will announce the details of the now annual Frog Frolic as soon as the frogs are active.

The Frog Frolic is a walk to the top of Towner Hill to visit the vernal pool nestled between the double hilltop and bear witness to the full throated chorus of wood frogs.  This walk is weather dependent so be sure to check back for details.

Below is a sample of what you will hear from our frog friends.

Go to our Naromi Trail Maps page to get detailed maps of the hike.
